Wow that was worth the wait. The new carbon version of the Inflite is released. Love the color. Not fully convinced about that shouldering kink.
I have ordered the Canyon Inflite CF SLX 8.0 Pro Race yesterday. The yellow/black bike comes with SRAM Rival 1 and it will be my replacement bike for the broken road bike. At least for the remaining months of the year when the weather is good. I am thinking of changing the chainring to 44T with a 11-28 cassette at the back for road riding with 28mm Conti's and keep the original 40T with 11-36 for gravel / winter riding when the weather gets colder with fatter 40mm tires with profile. Can't wait! Finally time and motivation again to do a follow up video for the Canyon Inflite AL 8.0 Pro Race of almost two years ago
man... the defy broken after 5500kms????? what a shame but on the other side... new bike coming So, I watched on canyon website and I saw a reynolds wheelset ... very nice... I thought I would buy the Grail
Frame is still tip top but the rear wheel has a crack in it. I have ordered the 2018 Inflite SLX and not the one from 2019. The previous model has the H36 Ergocockpit, better seat post etc and the SLX frame instead of SL. The Grail AL was my preferred choice but I am running out of bikes now and the release date for that bike is still not set. I think the Inflite will do just fine on the road and in the woods this winter!
Is it there yet? Is it there yet? Is it there yet? Is it there yet? Is it there yet? (now I'm like a child.... )
Hope it will be ready today @dazzyb2k3 I am going to run it without the CX tires during the summer months remaining but with GP4season 32mm tires as I will be mostly on the road. Bigger tires can wait for the winterseason
I am so impressed by it so far. I have mounted regular Conti GP4000 SII in 28mm and the bike is just as fast on the road as my old Defy. Biggest difference is the geometry. The Defy was really relaxed and you can feel the racing DNA in the Inflite, much more aggressive which surprisingly: i kinda like Who would have thought that 2.5 years ago when i picked cycling again
